Copperstate Tackle Expands Into Florida with New Inverness Store
Family-owned Arizona retailer to open in early November with a Grand Opening Tail Gate
Kick-Off at the former 44 Tackle Co. location; launches same-day shipping with next-day
delivery across Florida; local angler and 44 Tackle Co. Owner Chris Kingree to serve as
brand ambassador
INVERNESS, Fla. — September, 10 2025 — Copperstate Tackle, a family-owned fishing
tackle retailer based in Arizona, today announced its expansion into Florida with a new
store at 1522 U.S. 41, Inverness, FL 34450 (Inverness Regional Plaza). Beginning October
1, 2025, the space will be re-merchandised and updated to reflect Copperstate’s brand
and showroom design. The store will officially open in early November with a Grand
Opening Tail Gate Kick-Off.
In addition to in-store service, Copperstate Tackle will offer same-day shipping with
next-day delivery to all customers across Florida, giving anglers statewide fast access to
pro-shop-level products.
The location has been home to 44 Tackle Co. for nearly a decade. 44 Tackle Co. will close
its retail storefront on September 21, 2025, as the site transitions to Copperstate Tackle.

While 44 Tackle Co. will no longer operate a retail storefront, Kingree will remain active in
the fishing industry through tournaments, media projects, and future ventures, alongside
his new ambassador role.
